At Call Pal, community, connection, and support are at the heart of everything we do. This year, we were incredibly proud to take part in Darkness Into Light 2026 alongside the team at Gray Offices in Galway.

The annual Darkness Into Light walk, organised by Pieta, brings communities together across Ireland to support suicide prevention and mental health services. The event symbolises hope, solidarity, and the journey from darkness into light for those impacted by suicide and self-harm.

For the Call Pal team, participating in Darkness Into Light Galway was an opportunity to stand together, support an important cause, and help raise awareness around mental health in Ireland. As a company that works closely with people every day, we understand the importance of listening, and meaningful human connection.

Walking through Galway City in the early hours of the morning alongside colleagues, friends, and members of the local community was an incredibly moving experience. The event reminded everyone involved of the importance of community and conversation.

We would like to thank Gray Offices for organising and supporting participation in this year’s event, as well as everyone who showed support throughout the campaign. Events like Darkness Into Light Galway continue to make a real impact by funding vital free services provided by Pieta across Ireland.
