Tell us a bit about your business and what you can offer your customers?
The Compliance Team was founded in 2019 by Eoghan Kenny, an experienced practitioner with over 15 years’ experience. The goal of the company is to bring expertise in all areas of compliance together and offer our client base all necessary expertise from one trusted partner. We chose our name, The Compliance Team, because for any company, they must comply with various requirements, which fall into two main categories;
- compliance with the external rules that are imposed upon an organisation as a whole, whether by customers, regulators or other stakeholders
- compliance with internal systems of control that are imposed to achieve compliance with the externally imposed rules
Whether it’s Cyber Security, Quality, Environment, Health & Safety or any other discipline, we work with clients across all areas and all sectors.
What is the most rewarding part about the work you do?
There are a number especially rewarding parts to our work. The first is knowing that we delivered tangible value to our clients and their stakeholders, whatever the project.
The second is the wonderful opportunity to meet so many kinds of people, working in their various departments across so many diverse sectors and industries! It’s great fun!
Another very rewarding part of the work is getting to speak at notable events, such as Tech Connect Live and the National Sustainability Summit, at which our CEO was a speaker last year and will be again this year.
What is your goal for the year ahead? Personal or business related!
2019 was our first year in business and we were delighted to look back and see that we had exceeded our objectives in many areas and helped so many clients. In 2020, we want to double this again. More importantly, we want to increase the number of customers, sectors and offerings we have, through innovative partnerships and solving niche needs, of which we are finding many, and many of those very under served.
