Tell us about your role at Call Pal? I am the Operations Manager which involves managing our fantastic team of agents, onboarding clients, and managing their business needs and requirements. As we work together as a team, we ensure we give our clients the premium service they can trust.
How do you like to start your day? Morning cuddles with my beautiful son before the busy day starts is always the best way to start the day!
- How long have been a part of the Call Pal team? I have been working at Call Pal since June 2020.
- How do you prefer to start your day? I like to start my day with a coffee and a good podcast/radio station for the drive to work.
- Have you spent time studying? What did you study? I spent time at Athlone Institute of Technology where I received a Higher Certificate in Business Studies.
- How long have been a part of the Call Pal team? I started working at Call Pal on September 1st, 2020.
- How do you prefer to start your day? I like to start my day with a comedy podcast to give me the best head start to the day!
- What do you love most about working at Call Pal? I love learning more about industries that I previously had no knowledge of, being able to competently speak with a client of a solicitor one moment and a construction worker the next is very fulfilling and you never know what is going to happen next
- How long have been a part of the Call Pal team? 6 years
- What behavior or personality trait do you most attribute your success to, and why? I am a hard worker and work well but as a team and under pressure, and I take pride in what I do…….
- How do you prefer to start your day? With a nice cup of coffee from our coffee machine in the canteen!
- How long have been a part of the Call Pal team? 18 months.
- What do you love most about working at Call Pal? Every day is different! We work different businesses across different sectors so each call is unique. Assisting callers and ensuring they receive a great service is what we do best. When we get great feedback it’s really rewarding. Our callers know they are being looked after we are here to help them get the information they need.
- What do you love most about working at Call Pal and what surprised you the most about working at Call Pal? Diversity, new clients joining us regularly. No day is the same and you learn something new every day. There are different ways to approach working with different people across different types of industries with one goal – to provide great customer service to all of our clients.
- What behavior or personality trait do you most attribute your success to, and why? Strong-minded and determined.
- Have you spent time studying? Yes, I have an Arts Degree and have just completed an HDIP in Computer Science and I will be starting a Post Graduate in Cloud Technologies in September.
- Who inspires you? Someone that inspires me would be Emma Watson. I first heard of Emma Watson when she was acting in The Harry Potter movies (which I loved!). However, in 2014 she was appointed as a UN Women Goodwill Ambassador and helped launch the HeForShe campaign. She has become an outspoken voice for global women’s rights.
- What’s one thing that surprised you about working at Call Pal? The different types of companies Call Pal work with. For example, one call could be for a building company and the next a solicitor or a physiotherapist clinic. I’m gaining so much knowledge about all of these different industries and enjoy working with the different callers within these companies.
- Have you spent time studying? I went to college at the National University of Ireland, Galway (NUIG). While there I got my Bachelor Degree in Commerce with a specialism in Human Resources. Since then I have gone on to receive a Certificate of Recruitment Practices from the Nation Recruitment Federation (NFR)
- What’s the most exciting part of your job? In Call Pal you are challenged to retain lots of information and think on your feet which I really enjoy. It is far from a mindless, boring role, it is an exciting and dynamic one.
- How do you prefer to start your day? I love to start my day by listening to some music on my commute through beautiful Galway.
- Have you spent time studying? Yes, I have an Undergraduate Degree in Psychology and a Master’s of Science Degree in Sports, Exercise & Performance Psychology – both from the University of Limerick. I also hold a Diploma in Personal Training and Nutrition.
- What do you love most about working at Call Pal? I love the office environment. The banter is great between the team and I enjoy how everyone in the office has become such good friends. Another reason is you can be sure not a single day is ever the same working at Call Pal which makes it exciting.
- How long have been a part of the Call Pal team? I will have been working here for 3 years in this November.
- How do you prefer to start your day? Once I have a coffee I’m good to go!
- How long have been a part of the Call Pal team? 3 months but I worked here back in 2017 for a few months!
- What do you love most about working at Call Pal? The team – everyone works together really well and I also really enjoy learning about our clients & their businesses.
- How do you prefer to start your day? Early! I always like to get in early to work, so I can get set up for the day ahead.
- What’s one thing that surprised you about working at Call Pal? The volume and range of clients & their businesses.
