Flood Street Physio has been open just over 1 year now and we are continuing to strive and developing our skills to maintain a great standard of care for all of our patients. Niamh Mc Callion, our senior Physiotherapist and a native of Galway decided to set up Flood Street Physio when she returned to Galway after living abroad for almost 12 years. She gained most of her post – graduate experience whilst living in New Zealand. She specializes in the treatment of Neck and Back Pain.
What is the most rewarding part of the work you do?
The most rewarding part of our job is seeing our patients who have been suffering with pain leave the clinic happy with their treatments and knowing they have started the first step in reducing their pain.
What’s your favourite thing to do in your town at Christmas?
We recently attended the ‘switching on of the Galway lights’, it was great to see the city come together and celebrate the start of such a lovely time of year. There is a great buzz around the city and the Christmas Markets in Eyre Square just bring that extra element of Christmas festivities to Galway which can be enjoyed by all ages.
