Call Pal and Gray Office Park would like to encourage all of our customers, friends, and social followers to join us in supporting the Women’s Aid urgent Christmas Appeal.
Women’s Aid is a fantastic charity that works to make women and children safe from domestic violence. They offer support and hope to women affected by abuse and work for justice and social change. Since its beginning’s, 40 years ago, they have built up a vast body of experience and expertise on the issue. This enables them to best support women and children and shares their knowledge with other agencies responding to women experiencing domestic violence.
At Christmas time, Women’s Aid sees a massive surge in the number of women and children needing their help – Christmas can be a time of financial and social pressure for families, leading to households becoming volatile. One in four women in Ireland is affected by domestic violence – this is an unsettling figure.
When choosing a Charity to donate to this Christmas the team at Call Pal & Gray Office Park chose to do what little we could to support this worthy cause.
We have created a beautiful Christmas card that we will send out to all our clients, and friends. Donating €2 to Women’s Aid for every card we send. These efforts will help fund their vital services, including their National Freephone Helpline (1800 341 900) and One-to-One Support Services.
Women’s Aid has been helping women and children suffering from domestic violence for over four decades. They have helped thousands of women and their children to live safer, happier lives, free from abuse. Women’s Aid does not want to allow any of their calls to go unanswered, and these crucial funds make sure this does not happen.
As well as donating to Women’s Aid ourselves, through our Christmas card initiative, we will be urging clients and social media followers to contribute. We will be adding a link to a donation page across our social media channels, through our email footers and at the bottom of this page. Please give what you can this Festive Season.
